About the Role

Join Perpetual Corporate Trust in a role combining fund compliance, regulatory project delivery and client service.  As Fund Project and Compliance Manager, you will work closely with our Responsible Entity (RE) Services team to deliver fund governance, scheme amendments, regulatory change projects and client service across a diverse portfolio of managed funds. You will play a key role in coordinating complex change initiatives while ensuring strong governance, compliance and client outcomes.

 A major focus will be coordinating mandatory climate reporting changes for Group 2 in scope PCT funds. You will bring together governance, climate risk, data, disclosure, assurance and stakeholder inputs while continuing to support broader fund compliance responsibilities. You will also coordinate quarterly Design and Distribution Obligations reviews and assess whether Target Market Determinations remain appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead scheme change assessments, amendments and transactions from planning through to implementation
• Coordinate legal documentation, contract negotiations and board approvals
• Manage the delivery of climate reporting changes across in scope PCT Responsible Entity funds
• Bring together climate risk assessments, scenario analysis, data, disclosures and assurance activities
• Plan quarterly DDO reviews and assess TMDs, target markets and product governance information
• Analyse product, complaints, mandate compliance, liquidity and stress testing information to identify gaps or potential review triggers
• Support client relationships, operational matters, service provider coordination and governance activities across the Client Management team.

About you

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Tertiary qualifications in law, business, accounting or a related discipline
• At least three years of financial services experience
• Experience in an outsourced Responsible Entity model or with an investment manager would be valuable
• Experience with climate related financial disclosures, DDO reviews, TMD assessments or product governance information would also be highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of managed funds, fund documents and fund operations
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex regulatory or financial reporting change projects
• Strong project, stakeholder and relationship management skills
• The ability to interpret regulatory change and apply it within fund governance and compliance frameworks
• Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the judgement to challenge information, document conclusions and escalate issues
• Confidence working with investment managers, legal, risk, compliance, finance, data providers, auditors and other specialist stakeholders.
