- Role Title: Cardiac/ Vascular /Orthopaedic/Neuro Scrub Scout Registered Nurse
- Role Type: Permanent full time
- Shift details: No routine weekend or night shifts, on call opportunities depending on specialties
- Location: Nolan Theatres, The Mater Hospital, North Sydney
- Salary: 41.58- 58.40 AUD base per hour +super

About The Role
- Provide exceptional patient-centred care to patients undergoing complex surgical procedures.
- Work effectively as a Scrub or Scout RN within a multidisciplinary operating theatre team.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, VMOs, allied health professionals and nursing colleagues.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, visitors, colleagues and other stakeholders
- Ensure patient and staff confidentiality is always maintained.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, respect and continuous improvement
- Maintain compliance with relevant Department of Health requirements, Work Health and Safety standards and infection prevention and control practices.
- This position offers an attractive work -life balance with One RDO per month, published 14 days in advance
- Some on-call commitments for your specialty will be required, including occasional nights and weekends. Voluntary additional on-call opportunities may also be available.
About You
- Valid AHPRA registration.
- Bachelor's in nursing.
- Current or recent Cardiac, Vascular, Orthopaedic and /or Neurosurgical scrub/scout experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient centered care.
