The Butcher is responsible for expertly cutting, carving, and preparing a variety of meats, fish, and poultry while ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety, and presentation. This role supports the hotel's culinary operations by preparing products to specification for multiple food and beverage outlets and maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local health regulations.
What You Will Do
Cut, trim, bone, grind, portion, and prepare meats, fish, and poultry to established specifications.
Inspect products for freshness, quality, and proper presentation standards.
Weigh, package, label, and store products according to food safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment.
Follow all ServSafe, food safety, and health code standards.
Support culinary teams with timely preparation and delivery of products.
Monitor inventory and help minimize product waste.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
What You Bring
Previous experience as a Butcher in a luxury hotel, resort, restaurant, or high-volume food service environment.
ServSafe Certification required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for hospitality and service excellence.
Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to work collaboratively.
