Function

• Serve as administrative officer supporting Fifth Third Wealth Advisors in every aspect of servicing their client base to ensure greater client satisfaction, client retention and growth, and compliance with all policies and procedures governing fiduciary relationships. Primary interface with Bank trust advisors and administrators, trust accounting system, process workflows, and trust operations, when necessary. Responsible for understanding and implementing all internal policy and procedures
• Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for clients and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the firm’s and the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Essential Duties

Client Service:

• Support Bank trust advisors and administrators and Fifth Third Wealth Advisors with the administration of clients’ trusts, as needed.
• Partner with Fifth Third Wealth Advisors to retain client base
• Partner with Fifth Third Wealth Advisors to optimize effective and efficient process and client experience

Account Administration

• Critical Function – Onboarding of new clients to new account document prep, new account opening, asset transfer and coordination with outside custodians (Schwab and Fidelity)

• Coordinate with Middle Office on: Account opening, Cash transactions and Asset transfers
• Review daily fiduciary activity
• Ensure compliance with all processes and procedures- work with Fifth Third Wealth Advisor to ensure all documentation is retained
• Ensure adherence to all rules, regulations and internal governance to support assigned Bank Senior Trust Advisor in the administration of any client trusts.
• Build relationships with and work with clients’ external partners, including attorneys, accountants, planners, etc.

Sales Support:

• Partner with Fifth Third Wealth Advisors on client proposals and marketing  materials to support new business development.
• Assist with establishing and maintaining client accounts on Life 360
• Utilize CRM

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of client service/sales experience with high net worth/ultra high net worth clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advent Portfolio Exchange “APX” experience preferred
• Experience in client relationship management systems (CRM), document repositories, and electronic workflow tools
• General knowledge of investment reporting systems, investment performance calculations and analytics
• Basic understanding of investment strategies, markets, securities, ratings, etc
• Basic understanding of portfolio management and trade order management systems, Charles River investment system is preferred
• Basic understanding of custodial systems
• Travel within footprint as needed

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
