About the position:

You will be supporting the European Food Safety and Quality department for external factories and suppliers while developing to your fullest potential within this internship.

Assignments and key activities:

• Consumer & Customer Complaint Management: You will be responsible for managing and resolving consumer and customer complaints. Ensuring management and resolving in a timely and professional manner. You will be the technical bridge between our consumer- and customer service teams and the producing facilities.

• Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement: You will perform and review root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.

• Team: you will support and communicate with the external manufacturer team on data analysis and complaint management.

• Digital Quality Management System Transformation: As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support the transformation of the digital quality management.

• Product Specification Development: You will assist the product specification team in developing and maintaining product specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

• Product Quarantine and Release Process

You will support activities related to the product quarantine and release process, helping to ensure products are managed in line with quality and food safety requirements.

Specific Team Requirements:

- Food Quality Management/ Food Technology/Food Safety: HBO or WO, Bachelor- or Master student

- HACCP and food operational knowledge

- Data analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data sets

- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate findings

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Basic Requirements:

NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands) 

- EU/ EEA Students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for at least 50% of the internship period. 

- Non – EU student: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for the whole duration of the internship period. 

- You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but Dutch or other languages are a plus)
