Shift:

16 hours per week

Weekday: 3 PM to 8 PM.

Every other Saturday: 8 AM to 5 PM

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Maintains building security while providing administrative and reception support.

• Greets visitors, determines nature of visit, and contacts appropriate staff member to alert them of arrival.

• Performs general administrative and clerical duties including answering phones and answering the door.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• High level of professionalism and customer service skills, administrative and organizational skills.

• Ability to promote and maintain good public relations and to treat visitors and staff with courtesy.

• Ability to assess situations and respond appropriately.

• Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 16 years of age required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks.  Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.
