We are looking for experienced Forepersons to join our team for a reclamation and haul road construction project running throughout the winter.

The successful candidate will have a strong heavy civil background, hands-on experience operating heavy equipment, and the ability to lead a crew in a safe and productive work environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise a crew of equipment operators
• Assist with planning and coordinating daily site activities
• Communicate project priorities, work plans, and safety expectations to crew members 
• Promote and enforce Ledcor's safety culture, policies, and procedures 
• Conduct toolbox talks, daily safety meetings, and site hazard assessments 
• Complete daily reports, production tracking, and other required documentation 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role 
• Must have reclamation experience (dump site setup, soil stripping, windowing and material stockpiling)
• Must have experience in haul road construction
• Must have experience operating equipment: haul trucks (777/785) , dozers (D6 to D10)  and excavators (20-80T)
• Leadership training is highly preferred
• Ground Disturbance 201 certification
• Must have a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available for day / night shifts

Work Conditions:

• 14 days on / 7 days off , working 12 hours per day
• Camp accommodation provided
