Join our world-famous Harrods Food Halls as a Sales Associate within our Till Team on a fixed-term contract from 9 November 2026 to 5 January 2027. You will play an important part in creating an exceptional final impression for every customer, delivering warm, personalised service while ensuring every transaction is completed accurately and efficiently.

You’ll receive a competitive salary of £31,922.00, plus bonus, alongside our renowned Harrods benefits, including generous discounts across our stores and restaurants.

About the Role

As a Sales Associate within our Till Team, you will be one of the final points of contact in the customer journey, ensuring every customer leaves our iconic Knightsbridge store with a positive and lasting impression of Harrods.

Putting customers at the heart of everything you do, you will provide a warm, personalised and efficient experience while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, presentation and operational compliance. This is a fast-paced and customer-focused environment where every day offers new interactions and opportunities to make a difference.

Our teams are trusted to work with autonomy, and you will also:

• Deliver world-class service across staffed and self-service tills, creating warm, personalised and memorable interactions for every customer.
• Process sales, payments and refunds promptly and accurately, following all point-of-sale procedures and maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
• Develop your knowledge of Harrods products, departments and wider services, using this to answer questions, make relevant recommendations and confidently support our customers.
• Maintain a clean, organised and inviting checkout environment while following all Food Safety, Health and Safety, sustainability and operational procedures.
• Share ideas, knowledge and best practice across the team, responding positively to feedback and supporting colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This role is fully based at our Knightsbridge store and requires flexibility to work five days out of seven, including weekends and peak trading periods.

About You

Our Sales Associates are at the heart of the Harrods experience. They bring our values to life and share our commitment to making anything possible for our customers.

You will have a genuine passion for customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork and attention to detail are essential. Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or a till-based role would be beneficial, but your positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to create memorable customer experiences are equally important.

You will also:

• Have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to create warm and professional customer interactions.
• Be confident handling transactions accurately and efficiently while remaining calm, composed and customer-focused during busy trading periods.
• Be motivated to develop strong knowledge of Harrods products, departments and services so you can provide informed and helpful customer support.
• Demonstrate integrity, reliability and personal responsibility when handling payments, refunds and other till-related activities.
• Be open to coaching and feedback, taking ownership of your development while contributing positively to a supportive and collaborative team.
