How you'll help us achieve it
As our fleet service continues to grow and develop, we are strengthening our team to ensure that fleet operations are managed in a structured, efficient, and scalable way. We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager with strong expertise in fleet management who will be responsible for building, organizing, and leading the fleet function. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to establish robust processes that can support the growth of the service. Beyond day-to-day vehicle and driver management, you will elevate service quality, institutionalize rigorous standards, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver operational excellence.
In this role, you'll;
- Drive Strategic Leadership: Architect and scale the Fleet department to ensure seamless operations during rapid expansion.
- Optimize Processes: Design and implement standardized protocols to maximize efficiency and service consistency.
- Command Operational Management: Orchestrate daily vehicle and driver allocations to meet dynamic business demands.
- Ensure Fleet Availability: Maximize asset uptime through proactive resource planning and meticulous continuity strategies.
- Spearhead Maintenance Oversight: Execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs to preserve asset value.
- Monitor Performance: Audit driver performance to ensure strict compliance with safety standards and internal policies.
- Manage Vendor Relations: Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with garages, dealerships, and insurers.
- Uphold Financial Accountability: Administer fleet budgets and lead cost-optimization initiatives to improve profitability.
- Report on KPIs: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to provide data-driven insights to senior leadership.
- Enforce Regulatory Compliance: Ensure total adherence to local transportation laws and internal safety regulations.
- Lead Strategic Planning: Forecast requirements and contribute to long-term procurement and expansion strategies.
- Mitigate Risk: Identify vulnerabilities and implement robust measures to protect company assets and reputation.
- Foster Team Development: Coach the fleet team to build a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Solve Operational Challenges: Address complex issues with timely, scalable, and data-backed solutions.

- Work authorization in Côte d’Ivoire is required.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrate 3–5 years of progressive experience in fleet, transport, or large-scale operations management.
- Fluency in French with an ideally good command of English.
- Showcase a proven track record in managing drivers and external service providers.
- Maintain deep knowledge of vehicle maintenance, insurance, and compliance documentation.
- Exhibit proficiency in budget administration and complex vendor contract management.
- Develop and refine operational processes from the ground up with a focus on scalability.
- Apply an analytical mindset to identify trends and drive performance through KPIs.
- Lead with a proactive, highly structured, and service-oriented approach.
- Communicate effectively and negotiate with diverse stakeholders and partners.
