We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Sales Specialist to join our growing team in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional with strong fire alarm industry experience who understands both new system installations and service and upgrade opportunities for existing systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of proven sales experience in the fire alarm industry, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships while consistently developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed established sales goals.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and existing customer relationships.
• Consult with customers regarding new fire alarm installations, system replacements, expansions, upgrades, and service needs.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive proposals and quotations.
• Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities for upgrades, expansions, service agreements, inspections, and additional life-safety solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, property managers, facility managers, and other industry professionals.
• Coordinate with estimating, operations, engineering, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer and project requirements.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and opportunity updates.
• Stay current with fire alarm technologies, industry trends, NFPA requirements, and local regulations.
• Support projects from initial customer contact through proposal, award, and turnover to the operations team.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of proven sales experience in the fire alarm industry.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, fire alarm standards, and local regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to sell and quote fire alarm systems, upgrades, and service work.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and manage a diverse client portfolio.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and modern sales tools.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Experience with fire alarm system manufacturers such as EST and Notifier is a plus.
• Established relationships within the Jacksonville commercial construction, property management, or facilities market are a plus.
