Scope of Position

This detail-oriented individual, as part of the Platform Finance Team, will be responsible for supporting financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities, including preparing and improving templates for the STRAP and AOP processes. The Financial Analyst Intern will help transform financial data into actionable insights and recommend process improvements that support strategic decisions and business outcomes.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis – Americas. This role is hybrid and is based in N Andover, MA

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • ​Support the team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities.

  • Review large financial datasets and identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.

  • Assist with creating and enhancing templates for key processes, including Budget, STRAP, and AOP planning.

  • Help prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange information and coordinate necessary activities.

  • Participate in special projects and perform ad-hoc analyses as required by the Finance team.

  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis – Americas or Company management.

  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, continuous improvement, and transparency by maintaining accurate financial analyses, taking ownership of deliverables, identifying process improvements, and clearly communicating findings.

Required Qualifications

  • Current student (rising junior or senior status).

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Business Administration or Economics.

  • Knowledge of basic finance principles.

  • Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact.

  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.

  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.

  • Experience through coursework, academic projects, or previous internships analyzing financial datasets and identifying trends.

  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, or financial modeling.

  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, or spreadsheet templates.

  • Strong attention to detail and an interest in transforming data into actionable insights.

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the [insert office] location three days per week (Monday – Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods. 

  • Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials. 

  • Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks. 

  • Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls. 

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones,  and copiers. 

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time. 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. 

  • Ability to push and pull up to 20 pounds. 

  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor. 

  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers. 

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited  to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.

Pay Range

The expected hourly range for this position is $21-27 hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
