About Parloa
Parloa’s mission is to make every customer conversation feel effortless for both customers and the companies serving them. As agentic AI accelerates, Parloans are shaping the foundation of a new era in customer experience, one where customer support is no longer transactions, but meaningful exchanges. It is not just a vision; Parloa has powered over ONE BILLION interactions between global enterprise brands and their customers, with companies like Booking.com, HealthEquity, Allianz, SAP, BarmeniaGothaer, and TUI already deploying Parloa at scale.
About the role:
As Finance Systems Intern, you will help run and improve the quote-to-cash systems behind Parloa’s enterprise contracts. You will learn how signed agreements (annual commits, usage-based pricing, ramps and one-time fees) become accurate subscriptions and invoices across SAP Subscription Billing, NetSuite and Salesforce. This is a full-time, 6-month internship in Berlin, starting as soon as possible, with a dedicated mentor and real project work from your first weeks.
This is your opportunity to get hands-on with a modern quote-to-cash stack at a fast-growing AI company and take your own automation project from idea to delivery.
Areas of ownership:
- Billing Operations: Set up and amend customer subscriptions from signed contracts and run pre-billing checks on billing runs and invoices, with team review before anything goes live. Investigate rating, pricing and master-data errors so customers are billed correctly.
- Systems Configuration and Reporting: Maintain SAP Subscription Billing master data such as products, rate plans, pricing elements, and billing profiles, configuring and testing changes before they reach production. Build NetSuite saved searches, reports, and data imports, and support month-end close and reconciliations.
- Cross-System Data Integrity: Keep products, billable metrics, and customer data consistent across Salesforce, SAP, and NetSuite. Build reports that flag mismatches before they turn into billing issues.
- Issue Triage and Controls: Reproduce and document billing and finance-systems issues as clear, reproducible tickets for the team or our partners. Write and execute test cases for new features, and keep change logs and audit evidence current.
- Process Automation: Write SOPs, process maps, and user guides for finance colleagues, then spot manual steps and automate them with scripts, integrations or AI tools. One of these becomes your own internship project, which you present at the end of your internship.
Who you are:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Information Systems, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field for the full duration of the internship, and available full-time for 6 months
- First exposure to an ERP, billing or CRM system (such as SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora or Stripe Billing) through coursework, a university project, a previous internship or a working-student role
- Strong spreadsheet skills and the willingness to learn to read a JSON payload or an API error message; SQL or scripting experience (Python, Google Apps Script, n8n or Zapier) is a plus
- A systems mindset and real interest in how a contract becomes an invoice and a journal entry: when something breaks, you keep tracing it until you find the root cause
- Precise in how you work and handle financial data, with fluent written and spoken English and the confidence to ask questions and speak up with facts

Why Parloa?
We’re at the beginning of a new era in customer experience, one where AI doesn’t just respond, but understands, reasons, and takes action. We’re building agentic AI that enterprises trust with their most important customer moments: complex questions, high volumes, real stakes. When millions of people reach out to a brand, those interactions aren’t just support tickets; they’re defining experiences. We’re here to raise the standard: making every conversation seamless, intelligent, and genuinely helpful. If you care about shaping how businesses and customers connect at scale and want your work to matter in real, everyday moments, this is where you do it.
At Parloa, ownership isn’t a buzzword; it means being accountable for outcomes, not just tasks. We operate in a category that’s evolving fast, where the bar is high, and the problems are complex. We hire people who think in solutions, communicate with clarity, and follow through. People who are comfortable making decisions, taking responsibility, and raising the standard for themselves and those around them.
We’ve grown beyond the earliest startup phase, but we’ve kept the intensity: fast execution, direct feedback, and a strong expectation to contribute meaningfully from day one.
Backed by leading global investors like General Catalyst, EQT Ventures, and Altimeter Capital, we’re scaling with a clear ambition: to become the global category leader in enterprise-grade conversational AI.
