  • Estimated annual base pay: $75,000
    • All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity

As a Finance Rotation Program Member at Woodward, you will participate in a dynamic two-year program designed to accelerate your growth as a technical and future business leader. Through three immersive 8-month rotations, you will gain hands-on experience in diverse finance functions within Financial Planning & Analysis, Strategic Business Partnership, and Corporate Finance & Accounting.

Each rotation is structured to build both technical depth and cross-functional breadth, with assignments ranging from financial forecasting and investor support to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and policy implementation. Rotation Program Members can expect to relocate to one of Woodward's US sites for each rotation. Exceptional candidates will have the interest and drive to learn across the Industrial and Aerospace segments, the desire and adaptability to relocate multiple times, and the passion to develop as a future leader at Woodward.

You will engage in accredited coursework, professional skills training, and leadership development seminars, while benefiting from mentorship, regular performance reviews, and exposure to Woodward leadership. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Financial Tasks: Completes routine assignments using established procedures to support project objectives.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Works with cross functional departments to ensure alignment and timely completion of projects.
  • Apply Technical Principles: Utilizes foundational finance theories and practices to contribute to design and development activities.
  • Report Project Progress: Provides regular updates and documentation on task status and outcomes for senior team members.
  • Resolve Standard Issues: Identifies and addresses common technical problems using predefined methods and guidelines.

Key Skills:

  • Technical Aptitude: Understanding and applying fundamental finance principles to routine tasks, with a preference for candidates with experience using SAP S/4HANA (or similar enterprise resource planning software).
  • Communication: Effectively exchanging information and verifying comprehension with team members.
  • Problem Solving: Utilizing established procedures to resolve standard financial challenges.
  • Time Management: Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines within rotation assignments.
  • Team Collaboration: Working cohesively within diverse Woodward teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Analytical Thinking: Assessing information and standard practices to make informed judgments.
  • Adaptability: Adjusting to new disciplines and standardized procedures during rotations.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in executing routine assignments.
  • Project Coordination: Managing personal contributions within larger finance projects.
  • Learning Agility: Quickly assimilating new concepts and procedures under guidance from senior staff.

Eligibility requirement: Candidates must complete their undergraduate degree by May of 2027.
