Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities. In the space of 4 years, it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include, besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa, Middle-East and India, and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance, but also Human Resources.

Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves):

• Education: A university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience: Relevant professional experience in a core finance function (e.g., Accounting, FP&A, Audit, Treasury, Controlling). We encourage candidates at all levels of experience to apply.

• Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international collaboration. Additional proficiency in Portuguese, French, or Spanish is a significant advantage.

• Technical Skills: Proven competence with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desired.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, impeccable attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications (Wants):

• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CMA).

• Experience working within a Global Business Service (GBS) or a global, matrixed organization.

• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and experience with finance digitalization projects.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex business environment.
