Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for reporting units monthly closing, reporting, business planning and analysis. Support the business controller to deliver Financials Commitments and internal control requirement.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Reporting Unit reporting and costing accountant
  • Working closely with FAO and business team to ensure the reporting units monthly closing are timeliness and accuracy. Support monthly financial report package preparation in closing period.
  • Analysis financial data to track and assess performance against targets and benchmarks. Communicate to business on performance results and implications of presented reports.
  • Be responsible for project control, margin slippage follows up, financial result checking etc.
  • Full cost model ratio update and support quotation team implementation.
• Financial Planning and analysis
  • Preparing financial analysis reports, including business review material, management power BI report etc.
  • Balance sheet review, cost center expense monitor.
  • Support business controllers to prepare the reporting unit’s annual planning and rolling forecast.
• Others
  • Be familiar with ABB AR&P rules and related policy, support the business controller to ensure the business are compliance with internal control requirement.
  • Financial support for other functions.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance, Accounting, Economic or business administration.
• A good understanding of financial and business processes
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in costing and financial analysis skill, over 3 years of finance/accounting working experiences is preferred.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
• Excellent skill on MS Excel, Power point, priority for the data analytical tools such as Microsoft Power BI
