(Senior Finance Advisory Role to Global Leaders in Wholesale Banking)

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner for Wholesale Banking Sectors and Products to join ING Hubs Philippines as part of Global Finance Wholesale Banking. Role Summary

As part of the Wholesale Banking Sectors and Products Finance Advice team, you will act as a senior advisory partner, linking product and sector performance to financial outcomes, challenging assumptions, and steering planning, forecasting, and performance discussions.

Based in Makati, Philippines, you will functionally report to the Lead of Finance Advice Wholesale Banking Sectors or Products and work with global finance stakeholders, business leads, and Head Office Finance teams. This role requires mature business partnering, Wholesale Banking knowledge, and senior stakeholder confidence.

About the Team

You'll be part of the Finance Advice Wholesale Banking Sectors and Products team, supporting global stakeholders. The team provides financial transparency, performance insights, and decision support across Wholesale Banking products, sectors, client segments, and portfolios.

You will help turn accurate, auditable financial insights into practical actions that improve business performance and stakeholder experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as senior Finance Business Partner for assigned Wholesale Banking sectors and products, providing decision-ready advice, insights, and constructive challenge.
• Link business performance to financial outcomes, including revenue, cost, balance sheet, liquidity, capital, FTP, RWA, and risk-adjusted performance.
• Lead Flash, Actuals, Dynamic Plan, and Rolling Forecast activities with clear narratives, robust variance analysis, and scenario framing.
• Provide business controlling insights on cost, FTE, investment, recharge, accrual, and allocation movements, translating developments into management actions.
• Maintain strong data quality, control discipline, and auditability in management accounting systems, including MIS One Bank and Value Reporter.
• Present insights, recommendations, and performance narratives to senior stakeholders with clarity and business relevance.
• Respond to ad hoc business analysis requests by framing options, assessing trade-offs, and recommending practical actions.
• Collaborate with Wholesale Banking business teams, Finance Advice, Head Office Finance, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and strong stakeholder experience.
• Drive automation, continuous improvement, and capability uplift across finance advisory, business controlling, product knowledge, and stakeholder partnering.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA, CMA, CFA, or a master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of solid finance experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, business controlling, financial advisory, or performance management, with strong preference for candidates with direct Wholesale Banking exposure or banking domain experience.
• Hands-on understanding of Wholesale Banking products, sectors, client segments, revenue and cost drivers, balance sheet dynamics, liquidity, capital, FTP, RWA, and risk-adjusted performance; experience in corporate banking, lending, transaction services, financial markets, or similar WB portfolios is highly preferred.
• Strong business acumen and familiarity with banking performance language commonly used in the Philippine market, including P&L analysis, cost management, budget and forecast cycles, variance analysis, management reporting, stakeholder decks, and executive-ready financial commentary.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial analysis into practical advice, performance narratives, scenarios, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong technical experience with Power BI, Power Query, SmartView, Hyperion, Essbase, TM1, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, including the confidence to challenge assumptions.
• Strong learning agility, self-starting mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, automation, and more effective insight generation.
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with Wholesale Banking business teams, Finance Advice, Head Office Finance, and global finance stakeholders.
