Job Description:

The Field Supply Administrator is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of aircraft parts and materials in support of maintenance operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, proper preservation of aviation components, and timely processing of shipments, transfers, and material requests. The Field Supply Administrator maintains records within the Ramco system, supports warehouse operations, and contributes to safe, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain activities through strong organization, attention to detail, and customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring the preservation and proper storage of all articles or parts, while carried in inventory, including parts that are subject to deterioration and self-life specification;
• Ensuring the preservation and storage of all materials, parts, and supplies in a condition enabling them to be installed or used on civil aviation articles;
• Reviewing shipping queue and hangar daily and expediting the movement of items after ensuring proper and compliant protective packaging;
• Documenting items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transportation information to include all Ramco entries;
• Gaining approval for any priority overnight or hot shot shipments when aircraft is not undergoing contract related AOG;
• Receiving and storing incoming base transfers;
• Transferring parts to other base locations as the MMD sheets are issued;
• Preparing incoming drop-ship/AOG spares for a full receiving inspection;
• Notifying QC personnel when a controlled component is drop-shipped at the base location so it can receive the proper inspection and times verifications;
• Arranging and placing items in bins and or shelves;
• Adjusting inventory system after items have been received;
• Processing issues including selecting the part from warehouse, evaluating that the part has the appropriate documentation/forms attached to it, confirming the issue in Ramco and moving the part to shipping when applicable;
• Being able to create, edit, cancel, authorize, confirm and short close material requests, stock transfer orders, stock transfer issues, stock transfer receipts, record shipping details, maintenance returns, general returns and maintenance issues;
• Maintaining standards of good housekeeping in the warehouse;
• Being alert, fostering the best use of company funds;
• Understanding the definition of overhaul, retirement, inspection, and shelf-life and can identify these requirements on the listed parts tags and in the Ramco system; and
• Performing other duties as assigned by their Supply Supervisor/Supply Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be organized and be able to work effectively independently and as a team with a large and varied workload;
• Must be able to handle a variety of assignments and multiple tasks, including changing priorities and deadlines;
• Ability to demonstrate skills in conflict resolution and problem solving;
• Ability to prioritize tasks;
• Must be self-motivated with minimal supervision required and desire a willingness to learn;
• Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal (including diplomacy) and communication skills (both written and verbal) in working with other parties in person or by email or other written correspondence;
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook;
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required;
• Aviation background preferred but not required.
