  • Strengthen service execution: Promote accountability, effective communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement across daily service activities.
  • Support technical development: Identify team skill gaps and opportunities for training to increase technical proficiency and reduce dependence on escalated support.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Advanced degree with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience, or a bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or developing technical professionals.
  • Strong technical background supporting complex scientific, analytical, or semiconductor equipment.
  • Semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred.

  • DualBeam or Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems
  • Semiconductor wafer-related equipment or workflows
  • X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)

Additional technical capabilities include:

  • Experience troubleshooting ultra-high vacuum and high-voltage systems.
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to diagnose complex equipment failures and guide effective technical resolutions.
  • Familiarity with comparable analytical or semiconductor equipment from other manufacturers is welcomed.

Leadership and Customer Partnership

  • Ability to develop and motivate engineers with varying levels of technical experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with technical teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain organized and solution-focused during high-priority equipment escalations.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction, service quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to balance technical problem-solving with team leadership and customer expectations.

What Success Looks Like

During your first year, success will be demonstrated through your ability to:

  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction through responsive, high-quality technical service.
  • Strengthen the technical capabilities and independence of the Field Service Engineer team.
  • Improve the team's effectiveness in resolving complex equipment challenges.
  • Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders and internal technical partners.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuous-improvement-focused service environment.
