This role is for an AI & Automation Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft Copilot Studio agent development. This role will work closely with senior architects and platform teams to build intelligent agents, automate business processes, and integrate AI capabilities across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure services.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Copilot Studio and Power Platform, foundational knowledge of AI concepts, and familiarity with Azure services. Experience with Azure AI services is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains products and services across multiple cloud platforms.
• Ensures all solutions adhere to established architectural design patterns, governance standards and security controls for simple and basic configurations.
• Utilizes skills to evaluate business needs, define functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Develops secure and efficient updates or enhancements to cloud-based solutions with significant coaching and support.
• Familiar with methodologies, various programming languages, Infrastructure as Code platforms and automation tools.
• Consults on cloud projects of varying complexity.
• Applies engineering concepts and principles with current architectural and governance guidelines with minimal oversight.
• Reviews architectural designs for applications to ensure reliable and performant design patterns are implemented.
• Experience with running and scaling distributed software systems.
• Defines and tracks operational metrics for production performance, reliability, scalability, and availability dimensions.
• Projects are of increasing complexity and require minimal coaching and assistance from leadership.
• Assesses the production readiness of new cloud platform services and defines operational characteristics and maintainability in respect to the current standards and industry best practices with limited coaching and feedback from leadership.
• Creates and maintains runbooks/playbooks.
• Supports documentation as it relates to all aspects of the cloud platform implementation and operational support independently. Develops and maintains complex scalable automation pipelines.
• Utilizes Infrastructure as Code methodologies to provision, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure with limited advisement and support.
• Proven skills with troubleshooting sessions.
• Works with application teams, analyzing logs and data, opens service requests, works with vendors, partners, and drives problem resolution.
• Monitors performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions while identifying and developing plans to address long term trends or issues.

Requirements

• 2+ year of hands-on experience building Copilot Studio agents (in a professional role).
• 5+ years  Experience with Power Automate: building flows with triggers, actions, conditions, approvals, error handling, and connectors.
• 5+ Years Experience with Power Platform fundamentals:
• Environments and solutions
• Connectors and authentication patterns
• Understanding of governance concepts 
• Experience with Microsoft Purview and Agent 360 or other AI Agents.
• Experience with Azure, SharePoint/OneDrive and related technologies experience
• Experience with Power BI for Data visualization only
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Eagerness to learn evolving AI technologies
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Fabric for Measurement Metrics and historical trends would be a plus
