We are seeking an FP&A Specialist to drive financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis across multiple insurance portfolios. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders, including the CFO, to deliver strategic insights, develop financial models, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Job Summary
You will play a pivotal role in FP&A team, with cross-functional reach into Actuarial, Product, Distribution, and Commercial areas. Your remit will extend beyond standard planning cycles, encompassing the creation of financial models, performance analytics, and strategic advisory. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, including the CFO, and be a key driver in shaping financial strategy across various insurance portfolios. You'll partner with business owners to assess strategic initiatives and translate technical analysis into executive insights, and you'll contribute to planning/forecast cycles with high autonomy and conceptual thinking, delivering frameworks for emerging topics.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role requiring a hands-on approach, strong ownership, and the ability to independently deliver financial insights that influence strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop customized financial models to support planning, forecasting, product development, and distribution analytics
- Analyze sales funnels, lapse curves, persistency, pricing structures, and loss performance across diverse entities and insurance lines
- Lead forecasting and performance tracking with high technical precision and business alignment
- Validate and present key findings to senior leadership, influencing financial decision-making and business strategy
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of management reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Interface with cross-functional teams across Finance, Actuarial, Product, and Sales to align data and insights with organizational goals
- Own the control and sign-off processes for financial modeling assumptions and reporting frameworks
- Prepare and present management reports and executive decks, including CFO and governance forums
- Maintain control, validation and sign-off processes ensuring data accuracy and reporting relevance

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A or a comparable analytical finance role within the insurance industry, with hands-on experience in financial modeling, forecasting, performance management, and executive-level reporting.
- Insurance industry experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Finance or related field.
- Fluency in English
- Availability to work according to Pacific Standard time zone (PST)
