The FATCA & HRC Analyst is responsible for supporting the ongoing administration, monitoring, and operational execution of regulatory requirements related to the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS). The role ensures accurate client tax status classification, timely remediation of reporting exceptions, adherence to regulatory controls, and readiness for annual reporting obligations. Working closely with Compliance, Operations, Technology teams, and business partners, the analyst will contribute to a strong control environment while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyze and action FATCA and CRS control reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Perform reviews of change-in-circumstance, status change, and pending-status reports to identify remediation requirements.
• Complete remediation activities for pre-existing account reviews, threshold-based monitoring, and high-risk client requirements.
• Manage client outreach and follow-up activities related to FATCA and CRS self-certifications and supporting documentation.
• Support annual FATCA and CRS reporting readiness activities and regulatory filing requirements.
• Provide guidance and support regarding FATCA and CRS operational requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional discussions related to regulatory changes, testing, and audit activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen controls.
• Participate in automation, digital transformation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining procedures, playbooks, job aids, and training materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Excel, Power BI, and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, automation tools, and digital solutions.
• Proven ability to identify, implement, and support process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve client outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and High-Risk Clients is an asset.
• College diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
