Summary:

The Student Athletics Facilities & Operations Assistant will support the daily operations of athletic facilities, competitions, practices, meetings, and special events. This position provides hands-on experience in sports facility management and event operations while working closely with athletics staff, coaches, student-athletes, officials, vendors, and campus partners.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with game-day and event operations, including setup, preparation, and support during competitions and special events.
• Set up and tear down athletic facilities for games, practices, meetings, camps, clinics, and other events.
• Assist with competition facility preparation, including equipment, signage, seating, tables, and other event needs.
• Manage and maintain inventory of athletics-owned equipment and supplies.
• Assist with facility checks and general upkeep to ensure athletic spaces are clean, organized, safe, and event-ready.
• Prepare facilities for practices, team meetings, competitions, and other scheduled activities.
• Support athletics staff with event logistics, including moving equipment and materials and assisting with last-minute operational needs.
• Provide support during home athletic competitions and other events as assigned.
• Perform other facility and event operations duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time.
• 5 - 15 hours per week.

Salary Range:

• $18.40 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

• Student must have an active Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
