Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Facilities Coordinator to join our Workplace and Facilities Management team supporting one of our key Government portfolios.

 

 

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about property operations, facilities management, and service excellence to gain exposure to a large, complex portfolio while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

Flexible location: We welcome applications from candidates located in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Essential Requirements:

✅ Australian Citizenship is mandatory.

✅ Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance is essential.

✅ Previous experience within facilities, property, building operations, or customer-facing environments will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned property portfolio and support the Facilities Manager as required.
• Coordinate reactive and planned maintenance activities across sites.
• Act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related requests and incidents.
• Support the management of critical incidents and business continuity activities.
• Conduct annual property inspections, audits, and compliance checks, including NABERS assessments.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements and legislative requirements.
• Maintain asset registers and support lifecycle planning initiatives.
• Manage contractor inductions and compliance documentation.
• Prepare annual budgets and support financial forecasting and reporting.
• Process and reconcile maintenance and operational invoices.
• Ensure work orders are effectively managed and completed within required timeframes.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

• Experience within facilities management, property operations, building services, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A customer-first mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong administrative, financial, and organisational skills.
• Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively within a broader team.
• A desire to build a long-term career in Facilities Management.
