The latest addition to the city’s dramatic skyline and a vibrant hub for both business and leisure travelers, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be conveniently located in close proximity to the city’s major attractions, including the Petronas Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). F&B Supervisor - Banquet

The F&B Supervisor – Banquet is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently delivered for meetings, conferences, weddings, social events, and other functions. This role supports the Banquet Management team by supervising service staff, coordinating event execution, maintaining operational excellence, and creating memorable guest experiences in line with Four Seasons' luxury hospitality standards.

What You Will Do:

• Supervise banquet operations before, during, and after events to ensure seamless execution.

• Lead, motivate, and support the banquet service team to deliver exceptional guest service.

• Conduct pre-function briefings to communicate event details, service expectations, and guest requirements.

• Coordinate with the Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Events teams to ensure smooth event operations.

• Ensure banquet rooms are properly set up according to event orders, floor plans, and brand standards.

• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service throughout each event.

• Address guest requests, concerns, and special requirements promptly and professionally.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in all banquet areas.

• Support training and coaching initiatives to develop team members' product knowledge, service skills, and operational procedures.

• Assist with scheduling, staffing allocation, and performance monitoring to meet operational needs.

• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards.

• Monitor inventory and banquet operating equipment, reporting maintenance or replacement needs when necessary.

• Complete operational reports and communicate event outcomes or service issues to management.

• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment across departments.

What You Bring:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum 2–3 years of banquet or food and beverage supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment.

• Strong knowledge of banquet service standards, event operations, and food and beverage service techniques.

• Proven leadership and team supervision skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and guest service skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel property management or point-of-sale systems is preferred.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift or move banquet equipment in accordance with operational requirements.

• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia.

• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
