In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire a F&B Cost Controller.

Position Summary

Our new F&B Cost Controller will be contributing to the implementation of our Service Excellence Culture at our fully renovated Resort in Corfu, Ella Elyra, opening its doors in 2027. The F&B Cost Controller oversees all food and beverage cost control procedures, ensuring accurate inventory management, cost-effective purchasing, and compliance with financial policies, while supporting profitability and operational efficiency across all F&B outlets in the resort.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities 

• Monitor daily F&B revenues, consumption, and inventory movements, identifying variances and reporting discrepancies. 
• Conduct regular inventory counts of all F&B stores, bars, kitchens, and outlets. 
• Reconcile physical stock with system data and investigate any losses or discrepancies. 
• Work closely with the procurement and accounting departments to verify deliveries, invoices, and supplier pricing. 
• Support menu engineering by analyzing recipe costs, portion control, and yield performance. 
• Generate timely cost reports and dashboards for F&B management and finance teams. 
• Implement controls to prevent waste, pilferage, and inefficiencies. 
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory, requisitions, and transfers. 
• Ensure adherence to HACCP and internal audit standards in all F&B areas. 

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field 
• 3–5 years of experience in F&B cost control or finance in a hospitality environment 
• Strong knowledge of stock systems and POS integration (e.g., Entersoft, FnO, Adaco, Micros, or similar) 
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools 
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus 
•  High level of integrity and confidentiality 
• Strong numerical and analytical skills 
• Attention to detail and accuracy 
• Ability to work independently and proactively 
• Effective communicator with cross-functional teams
