The Expert Jazz GSM Strategy role is part of the Pricing, Strategy & Digital Analytics function within the Jazz Consumer Division. The role provides the analytical foundation for the Consumer strategy, ensuring that the strategy, its progress against the annual business plan, and the decisions that rely on it are supported by accurate, well-structured analysis.

Working closely with the Manager Jazz GSM Strategy, product owners and business teams, the role consolidates business inputs into the strategy and maintains the models and trackers that monitor its delivery. Each quarter, as the business plan is actualized, it analyses performance to date and the projected year-end outcome against the locked plan, identifying where and why performance is deviating so that management can act proactively rather than reactively.

The role also builds the analysis and presentation material behind the strategic narratives developed for the President Jazz GSM and the VP Jazz Consumer Growth for internal forums and external events. In addition, it develops the financial models and business cases for major strategic opportunities, such as spectrum auctions and new ventures.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and financial capability, attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex data into clear insight for senior audiences. The role reports directly to the Manager Jazz GSM Strategy.

What You'll Own:

• Consolidate inputs from product owners across Jazz GSM into the strategy model, linking key initiatives and levers to the approved business plan baseline and ambition.
• Maintain the strategy tracker, monitoring key performance indicators against the strategy on a monthly and quarterly basis and flagging emerging gaps early.
• Support quarterly strategy reviews as the business plan is actualised, analysing performance to date and the year-end outlook against the locked plan, and updating the strategy model accordingly.
• Conduct deviation analysis to identify root causes such as external market factors, gaps in internal support or execution challenges, and prepare findings for review by the Manager Jazz GSM Strategy.
• Track the support requirements the business plan ambition depends on, including budget, network and advertising spend, and report on their delivery status.
• Gather and analyse market and competitive intelligence to inform the strategy and strategic narratives.
• Prepare analysis and executive-level presentation material for the President Jazz GSM and the VP Jazz Consumer Growth for internal forums and external events.
• Develop financial models and business cases for special strategic projects, such as spectrum auctions and new ventures, using techniques including DCF, NPV, IRR and payback analysis.
• Coordinate with the Planning, FP&A and BI teams to ensure consistency of data and assumptions across the business plan, forecasts and strategy.

Requirements

You May Be A Strong Fit If You:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, Business, Economics, Finance, Management Sciences or a related field.
• Professional Qualification: Candidates holding CA, ACCA, CFA, ACMA or CIMA are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Industry Experience (Preferred): Telecom segments, pricing, strategy and business planning, or consumer digital services. Sound understanding of the Telecom business model and its key commercial and financial drivers.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to explain performance gaps and their root causes clearly.
• Ability to build clear storylines and executive-level presentation material.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and across departmental boundaries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, PowerQuery and Think-Cell
