Human Resource Business Partners are both coaches and change agents, influencing decisions and creating positive impact across the teams they support.

This role partners with senior leaders across Retail Banking Services, providing strategic people advice to drive leading people strategies and optimize business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with leaders to develop and execute the HR plan.
• Provide high calibre advice and coaching to leaders, as well as using data and insights to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions.
• Focus areas include talent management & succession planning, driving high performing teams, strategic workforce planning, organisational design and change, leadership coaching, organisational effectiveness, and championing diversity, equity and a positive employee experience.

• The role is also required to effectively partner with senior business leaders and key teams within HR including Group People Services, Centres of Expertise and Crew Leads to design and implement people strategies, plans and processes that respond to evolving business contexts.
• Drive measurable people, customer and business outcomes.

• Engage and develop a diverse workforce.

• Substantial, relevant experience within Human Resources or a related field.
• High calibre advisory, communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence senior leaders and quickly build trust.
• Passion for building culture, learning and customer obsession.
• Strong commercial acumen and business knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and comfortably navigate change, ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills that lead to commercial solutions.
• Track record of effectively advising and coaching leaders on key business and strategic HR drivers.
• Successful design and implementation of strategic and transformational people initiatives.
• Thorough understanding of current best practice people, culture and engagement methodologies.
• Growth mindset and curiosity.
• 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with 5+ years as an HR Business Partner.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications are desired but not essential.
