Four Seasons Hotel Miami is seeking an inspiring and accomplished Executive Chef who shares our passion for culinary excellence and exceptional hospitality.
As the leader of our culinary operations, you will oversee the creation and delivery of memorable dining experiences across the property. Through creativity, thoughtful leadership, and an unwavering commitment to quality, you will inspire your team to consistently deliver the exceptional standards for which Four Seasons is known.
What You Will Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop the culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, presentation, and service.
- Direct menu planning and development, bringing creativity and innovation to the hotel’s culinary offerings.
- Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, purchasing, and inventory while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance management, and development within a unionized environment.
- Ensure compliance with Four Seasons standards and all applicable food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Establish and maintain quality control standards, including food preparation, portion consistency, and purchasing specifications.
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership and other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Contribute to strategic planning and initiatives that enhance culinary performance and guest satisfaction.
What You Will Bring
- Previous culinary leadership experience in a luxury hotel or upscale dining environment.
- A minimum of two years of management experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- At least three years of culinary experience in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant.
- A culinary degree is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop diverse teams.
- Sound financial acumen and experience managing labor, food costs, budgets, and inventory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine passion for culinary excellence.
- The ability to remain composed, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in a demanding environment.
- A collaborative approach to leadership and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
