As a member of the Red Hat team, you'll work in an environment that values collaboration, innovation, and diverse perspectives. Your daily responsibilities will include, working closely with event managers, product marketing managers, marketing operations and our internal design agency to track progress on event goals, draft event marketing content and analyze event metrics.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in event marketing, data analytics, demand generation campaigns, and general technology as this role requires you to first be a marketer to distribute Red Hat’s message and brand awareness. You will have a track record of excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. You should also have a desire to grow and evolve the events, including the attendee experience and ROI.

Job Responsibilities
Assist with the planning, production and execution of third-party and proprietary events
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: pre-event discovery and planning, event support and promotion, printing and shipping, budget management, staffing, social media scheduling and reporting, post-event survey and reporting, etc.
Review, analyze, and report on data that impacts our events to enable better decisions on content, promotion, etc.
Conduct research on markets, industries, competitors, products and campaigns
Expertly drive pre-event weekly meetings, including assistance and preparation of event planning presentations
Build and distribute regular pre-event status reports and post-event trip reports
Work closely with marketing, sales, product teams, PR, upper management, and field evangelists to achieve business goals via event marketing
Oversee the purchasing, packing and distribution of specified event supplies before, during and after each event
Basic Qualifications
0-3 years of relevant work experience in event marketing. Experience in marketing B2B technology products or services preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, data analytics, or relevant field of study
Demonstrated success in event marketing and/or project management
Experience providing qualitative and quantitative analysis to key stakeholders and help drive adoption of insights
Good analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
A willingness and ability to work independently and autonomously
Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
Skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget
Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
Comfort level with Tableau would be a plus
