Due to the continued growth of our EU Institutions & Public Organizations Consulting practice, we are looking for Senior Consultants and Managers (Senior Associate/Manager level) to join our team in Athens.

Our team supports European Institutions, International Financial Institutions, national governments and public sector organisations in delivering high-impact consulting projects that contribute to European priorities and policy objectives, translating EU-wide strategies into tangible reforms, investments and transformation initiatives across Member States. 

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work across areas including digital transformation, infrastructure, energy transition, competitiveness, public sector reform, sustainability and social policy. 

Based in Athens and working closely with colleagues from across the PwC network in Europe, you will contribute to projects that create impact at both European and national level. The role combines analytical problem solving, project delivery, stakeholder engagement and team leadership responsibilities, while offering collaboration with clients and teams across Europe. 

SOLVE WHAT OTHERS CAN'T 

• Manage and deliver workstreams and consulting assignments for European Institutions, International Financial Institutions, national governments and public sector organizations
• Lead and coordinate small multidisciplinary teams, acting as a coach and role model while ensuring high-quality delivery and effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to the preparation of competitive tenders and proposals for strategic consulting opportunities across Europe
• Develop methodologies, analytical frameworks, governance models and implementation approaches that help clients address complex challenges and achieve sustainable outcomes
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, synthesize evidence and translate findings into actionable recommendations for clients
• Take ownership of project deliverables and support the successful execution of project plans, timelines and client expectations
• Engage directly with senior client stakeholders, facilitating discussions, presenting insights and supporting strategic decision-making 
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and consulting teams across Europe to develop innovative and practical solutions
• Actively contribute to business development activities and the preparation of competitive tenders and proposals

WHAT YOU BRING MATTERS 

• 4+ years of relevant experience in consulting, public sector advisory, strategy, project management, technical assistance or related fields 
• Experience managing project tasks, workstreams and small teams in a structured and collaborative environment 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to develop methodologies, strategic frameworks, delivery models and practical recommendations 
• Experience delivering projects for European Institutions, International Financial Institutions, national governments and/or public sector organisations 
• Familiarity with EU public procurement procedures, tender preparation and proposal management processes 
• Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders 
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams across different sectors and policy domains 
• Fluency in Greek & English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and maintain high-quality standards 
• A proactive mindset, strong ownership mentality and willingness to take initiative beyond the immediate scope of responsibility
