Your Impact 

As an Associate 2, you will contribute to high-quality CSRD and sustainability assurance engagements for international clients across the CEE region. 

You will perform assigned assurance procedures, analyse sustainability and financial information, prepare clear documentation and continue developing the technical and professional skills required for future career growth. 

What You Will Do 

• Perform assigned sustainability assurance procedures in line with reporting frameworks, assurance standards, PwC methodology and team instructions 

• Support planning by understanding the client’s business, sustainability reporting processes and controls 

• Test sustainability disclosures, KPIs and supporting data within assigned areas 

• Support process and control walkthroughs, documenting key steps and findings 

• Analyse sustainability and financial data, flagging inconsistencies and unusual trends 

• Prepare clear, accurate and timely documentation meeting PwC quality standards 

• Communicate with international teams and track assigned tasks 

• With guidance, clarify client requests and obtain support for defined areas 

• Integrate sustainability considerations into assurance procedures with the team 

• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing for Associates and Interns 

• Contribute to automation and innovative assurance solutions

What We Are Looking For 

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in external audit. Previous CSRD, ESG, sustainability reporting or assurance experience is an advantage, but strong motivation to develop in this field is equally welcome. 

Education: university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Studies or related field. 

Language: English at B2 level. 

Technical Skills: 

• Understanding of accounting and auditing standards. 

• Strong Excel skills. 

• Experience performing substantive testing and audit documentation. 

• Interest in technology-enabled auditing and data analytics.
