Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join the Facilities & Equipment Maintenance team located in Helena, Montana.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior Equipment Maintenance Specialist.

This position is for Monday - Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM (4 – 10’s).

The successful candidate will have a background in equipment maintenance and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance of CNC equipment with Fanuc and Siemens controls. Position Responsibilities:

• Works under general supervision with understanding of the job
• Performs maintenance on factory equipment
• Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Assists with interpreting blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment
• Responds to requests for equipment repair
• Identifies and requests component and replacement part inventories

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems
• 1+ years of experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals
• 1+ years of experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes
• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ years of experience operating Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Hydraulic Systems
• 1+ years of experience performing predictive and/or preventative maintenance
• 1+ years of experience working with suppliers
• Ability to take direction, multi-task, perform work safely and communicate in written and verbal form

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range:

Associate (Level B): $52,000 – $55,000
Mid-level (Level C): $56,700 – $60,500
Senior (Level D): $66,700 – $70,500

Sign-On Bonus: External candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500
