The EPS ensures DWR's NPDES Industrial Permitting meets EPA and State requirements and Division programmatic goals. ~ Convey issues, needs, and reports to management to ensure effective implementation of the program

~ Review draft NPDES Industrial Permits, and participate in engineering review of proposed wastewater alternatives

~ Address industrial facilities associated with the Water Safety Act (WSA) focusing on PFAS related activities and coordination with WSA stakeholders and the NC Collaboratory

~ Develop and negotiate positions in highly complex NPDES permitting scenarios

~ Attend public hearings on permit issues and respond to questions from general public and regulated community
