Job Title: Enterprise Technical Architect – Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Overview

The Enterprise Technical Architect (ETA) serves as the technical authority for enterprise-scale Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (WMS) transformation programs. This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and integrated technical solutions that align with customer business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

Working closely with customer IT leaders, business stakeholders, Enterprise Solution Architects, and consulting teams, the ETA drives technical strategy, integration architecture, cloud readiness, and solution governance to ensure successful delivery of complex WMS implementations.

Scope

The ETA leads technical architecture across strategic Blue Yonder WMS engagements, providing direction for integrations, infrastructure, automation, data flows, and non-functional requirements. This role influences architecture decisions, governs technical solution design, and partners with customer and project teams from discovery through go-live.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise WMS implementations and transformation initiatives.
• Architect integrations between Blue Yonder WMS and customer technology ecosystems, including ERP, OMS, TMS, LMS, automation, and partner systems.
• Establish best-practice integration, cloud, security, and scalability strategies.
• Serve as the technical authority throughout the project lifecycle, from design through go-live.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical workshops, and governance discussions with customer stakeholders.
• Define and validate performance, availability, security, resiliency, and scalability requirements.
• Identify technical risks and drive resolution strategies to support successful project delivery.
• Partner with Enterprise Solution Architects, Delivery teams, Product Engineering, and customer IT leadership to ensure alignment across business and technical objectives.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to Blue Yonder implementation standards, technical innovation, and delivery excellence.
• Support solution assessments, estimations, and strategic customer growth opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 8+ years of enterprise software implementation, solution architecture, or technical consulting experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing or architecting Blue Yonder Warehouse Management solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical architecture for enterprise-scale WMS implementations across multiple sites, regions, or business units.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain execution processes, and WMS business workflows.
• Experience designing enterprise integrations utilizing APIs, EDI, messaging technologies, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with cloud-based and hybrid deployment models.
• Understanding of application security, identity management, performance optimization, resiliency, and scalability principles.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, executive stakeholders, and customer leadership.
• Experience facilitating architecture reviews, technical governance, and solution design workshops.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of supply chain software consulting experience.
• Deep expertise with Blue Yonder Warehouse Management and adjacent Blue Yonder Execution solutions.
• Experience integrating WMS with automation systems, robotics platforms, material handling equipment, and warehouse control systems.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder Platform, AI-powered capabilities, and emerging supply chain technologies.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or other enterprise cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Transportation Management, Order Management, Labor Management, or Warehouse Automation solutions.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation and modernization programs.
• Architecture certifications, cloud certifications, or related technical credentials.
• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.

The annual salary range for this position is $96,182 - $163,976.90

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
