You plan, develop and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz standards are adhered to.
How you will contribute
To ensure that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects. You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. In this role, you will support capital project execution and will be accountable for the quality and results of the capital projects per Mondelēz standards, and our business and innovation processes in project management.

More about this role
As a key member of the project team, the Engineering Lead — Utilities acts as the central point of accountability for utility engineering design integrity, vendor management, risk identification, and execution of utility expansion at Sricity.
The purpose of this role is to lead the the utilities for Sricity brownfield expansion . He/She will also need to lead the execution of the project and ensure adherence to the timeline and budgeted cost.
End to end responsibility for the design, procure, install, commission, start-up and hand-over of the Utility Systems for Project marvel. The incumbent will lead and coordinate all the project execution activities with a strict adherence to Integrated Project Plan, Budget Plan and Risks Mitigation Plan. Reporting to the Project lead, the incumbent will coordinate, functionally, with other project leads, Procurement, Finance, License, and Operations to perform his mission and achieve his goals.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Past experience working in big processing environment or engineering company.
- Experience on engineering and execution activities required for installation of utility equipment.
- Strong awareness and application of world-class personnel safety and Process safety
- Reading, understanding and interpretation of technical documentation such as layouts, PFDs, P&IDs, electrical schematics and specifications etc.
- Excellent project management skills including organizational and time management habits
- Positive communication and ability to influence others with fact-based arguments
- Exposure to GMP standards
- Self-directed with high level of initiative to identify and execute tasks with little supervision
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering with preference for Mechanical, Chemical or process controls engineering. or Higher degree or demonstration of regular development and training courses
High proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and ACAD
Job specific requirements:
Engineering Design & Ownership
- Develop the engineering design for equipment, buildings, and utilities in close cooperation with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure utility systems (water, air, gas, steam, electricity) are properly sized to meet current operational and future capacity requirements.
- Follow and apply MDLZ Infrastructure Guidance for all Greenfield and Brownfield projects, incorporating current best approaches (CBAs).
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure specifications for the design and build of utility plant, equipment, and services meet site requirements, local/national regulatory requirements, and Mondelēz quality standards.
- Share all relevant MDLZ technical specifications with involved equipment suppliers and enforce compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Execution
- Actively identify, assess, and mitigate engineering and project risks throughout all project phases.
- Manage project leaders of involved equipment suppliers, ensuring delivery milestones and quality standards are met.
- Overall execution scope includes: Commissioning of 3000 TR Ammonia Chiller plants 5 Deg /0 Deg, Compressed, Compressed air piping, Rain water storage network, Waster water treatment plant, Water treatment plant, ZLD plant, HVAC, utility distribution, Boiler etc.
- Integrated 3D drawings/clash free drawings
- Leading the "Zero Harm" culture in Utilty execution, ensuring adherence to Safe ways of working & MDLZ safety standards in equipment design & Construction safety management
Energy, Sustainability & Innovation
- Drive energy efficiency, heat recovery, and renewable energy initiatives across sites.
- Set high performance standards for Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Contribute to MDLZ sustainability goals by embedding circular economy and decarbonisation principles in utility design.
