We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Manager to join our growing Systems Engineering & Verification Team.
2. Detailed Job Scope (Roles & Responsibilities)
•The engineering manager will operate as a senior leader within the Systems Engineering function, contributing both directly to product development lifecycle, resource management and to broader transformational initiatives across the organisation.
•Provide technical and strategic leadership within the Systems Engineering organisation, contributing to both individual product development projects and long-term capability-building initiatives.
•Partner with cross-regional Engineering Managers to develop and execute the Systems Engineering strategy for the business. Collaborate with peers across the organisation to drive the effective adoption of tools, methodologies, and best practices that enable efficient delivery of the product portfolio.
•Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of Systems Engineers across various levels of experience, enabling their progression into independent subject matter experts and future leaders.
•Ensure team ownership and execution of requirements management and verification activities, maintaining quality, traceability, and compliance.
•Drive business-aligned initiatives to standardise tools, processes, and risk management across the product portfolio, with a focus on Joint Development Models (JDM).
•Promote Systems Engineering principles across the organisation, collaborating with RDD teams to solve complex technical challenges.
•Apply Systems Engineering methods and tools to bring clarity, structure, and direction to complex product development activities.
•Translate product vision and business objectives into clear, concise, and actionable user, business, and product requirements.
•Develop high-quality, unambiguous, and testable requirements that enable engineering teams to design, develop, and verify solutions effectively.
•Create and manage the verification strategy to ensure traceability on test cases to product requirements.
•Foster a leader-leader culture that empowers teams with autonomy, accountability, and shared ownership.
•Act as the regional site leader for Systems Engineering and support the future growth, development, and expansion of the team within the region.

3. Qualifications
•A first degree in mechanical / mechatronics / electrical / electronic / software engineering. Additional qualifications and certifications in systems engineering are desirable
•Experience in Systems Engineering processes and applications with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a product development environment.
•Demonstrable experience in performing systems breakdown, architecture definition and using functional analysis techniques resulting in well written unambiguous requirements.
•Capable of working in an agile and autonomous manner.
•A strong grasp of MBSE using Systems Engineering Modelling Software
•Additionally, experience with Requirements Management Tools and Product Lifecycle Management tools is desirable but not essential
•A clear, logical thinker with attention to detail and an appreciation for engineering fundamentals and critical analysis.
•A confident technical leader, able to operate with influence and drive transformation and growth.
•A demonstrable ability to manage stakeholders accountable for product quality, reliability, safety, performance claims and compliance & approvals.
•A demonstrable ability to manage a team of systems engineers in delivering product development lifecycle.
•Excellent communication and reporting skills, an ability to report and communicate appropriate information at all levels form engineers to C-level executives.
