In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience through a temporary hands-on internship. This position follows an on-site work model at 4025 Trans-Canada Highway, Pointe-Claire, QC, H9R 1B4.This role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products (ELIP) Division in Canada.
Your Role: Take on the Challenge
- Maintain and update the parts database within the ERP system, including part numbers, descriptions, suppliers, and other relevant information.
- Create and configure items and components related to production equipment in the ERP system using available technical data.
- Organize and optimize the spare parts inventory by classifying, identifying, and locating items to ensure the accuracy of inventory locations recorded in the system.
- Reorganize spare parts stock by grouping components according to category or part type rather than by equipment, while ensuring proper identification and storage locations.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and track stock quantities to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
- Team-oriented with experience working in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Creative, logical, resourceful, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of a CMMS platform (such as Interal or equivalent) is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
