Engineering Delivery Manager, EMEA

Location: EMEA | Function: CTO / Engineering

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to lead product and technical delivery across EMEA, connecting our customers with our Product and Engineering teams.

This is more than a traditional project management role. You’ll operate at the intersection of technology, product and customer delivery, bringing structure and clarity to complex programmes and ensuring our commitments translate into successful outcomes.

You’ll need to be technically credible, commercially aware and comfortable balancing customer expectations, product priorities and engineering capacity across multiple markets.

What you'll do

• Lead EMEA technical delivery – own and oversee complex product and engineering deliveries from initial commitment through to successful customer implementation.
• Connect customers, Product and Engineering – translate customer requirements into clear delivery plans while creating a strong feedback loop that helps shape our products and priorities.
• Bring clarity to the delivery portfolio – maintain visibility of priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks and resource requirements, ensuring stakeholders understand what we're delivering and when.
• Partner with Engineering – work closely with engineering leadership to understand capacity and constraints, protect engineering focus and ensure resources are directed towards the highest-value outcomes.
• Lead through complexity – anticipate and resolve delivery challenges, manage competing priorities and provide credible senior-level communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Make delivery better – establish pragmatic governance, metrics and ways of working that improve predictability, accountability and scalability without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

Requirements

What we're looking for

You’ll bring significant experience in technical delivery, programme management or engineering delivery within a technology-led organisation, ideally combined with a software engineering or engineering leadership background.

You'll have successfully delivered complex technology or product initiatives for enterprise customers and be comfortable working directly with software engineers, Product teams and senior customer stakeholders.

Strong technical literacy is important. You don't necessarily need to be hands-on with code today, but you should understand the software development lifecycle and be able to challenge technical teams, understand APIs, integrations, cloud or data environments, and translate complex technical topics for customers and business stakeholders.

Experience working across multiple countries or distributed teams would be particularly valuable, as would experience within SaaS, payments, transport technology or other complex enterprise technology environments.

You’ll create a more predictable, transparent and scalable approach to engineering delivery across EMEA.

Customers will have greater confidence in our commitments, Engineering will have clearer priorities and fewer unexpected demands, and Product will have a stronger understanding of what our customers and markets need.

Ultimately, you'll help ensure that customer commitments, product strategy and engineering capacity stay aligned — enabling us to deliver successfully today while building a stronger platform for future growth.
