As an Engineer II, you will help deliver secure, reliable, and compliant infrastructure solutions while supporting cloud, automation, and platform initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges, improve processes, and support the successful delivery of projects including provisioning and decommissioning servers. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as you'll help drive alignment across teams and clearly communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.- Assist senior engineers with day‑to‑day engineering, operational support, and project tasks
- Perform basic system monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution following documented procedures
- Support the maintenance of IT infrastructure, platforms, or applications
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency.
- Support automation initiatives through scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipeline activities.
- Assist with implementing approved configurations, updates, and changes
- Participate in incidents, problem, and change management activities
- Document system configurations, procedures, and operational tasks
- Follow security, compliance, and operational standards
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members when appropriate.
What you'll need:
- 1+ years of related experience IT App Support, IT Development, IT Networking, or similar field.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent coursework or experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Basic understanding of:
- Operating systems and infrastructure fundamentals
- Networking and system concepts
- Databases or data structures
- Version control or ticketing systems
- Strong willingness to learn and follow established engineering standards.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking preferred.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- May require up to 25% travel.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to enterprise IT environments
- Familiarity with Agile or ITSM processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments in financial services or highly regulated industries.
- Scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
