Main Responsibilities
1. Work as local project manager to support oversea design center for new product development and implementation, including -
Organizing engineering sample building and arranging inspection for new components.
Arranging engineering testing per test plan, tracking testing progress closely and reporting testing failures in detail to design center.
Implementing and verifying design improvement against testing failures or assembling issues.
Working with suppliers to conduct DFM for new parts and communicating with design center to address all the technical issues raised in DFM report.
Working with local function teams to create and maintain BOM in SAP, sign off FPI for new parts, optimize assembly process and fixtures, etc.
2. Generate VI ideas and implement those ideas into production.
3. Generate innovation ideas or support to verify innovation ideas.
4. Others assigned by manager.
Main Requirements
1. Mechanical or Electromechanical background, bachelor’s degree with 3+ years working experience in power tool or household product related industry. 2. Proficient in mechanical design and GDT calculation, rich knowledge on mechanical materials, heat treatment and manufacturing processes such as plastic injection, die-casting, stamping, machining, etc.
3. Excellent communication skills and good command in English, capable to communicate with oversea engineers independently.
4. A good team player, be able to work in a cross-functional team under high pressure.
