As an Emissions Executive you will be responsible for ensuring that daily voyage data collected through voyage reporting activities is accurate, complete, and quality assured to support delegated clients with emissions compliance and reporting services. You will manage client queries, perform voyage-level emissions assessments, and support the allocation and verification of emissions data across various chartering activities.

Working within the Emissions Services team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality emissions reporting and compliance support services for maritime clients.

Reporting to the Emissions Specialist, you will perform daily operational tasks, support timely reporting requirements, and help ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and customer commitments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Verify, validate, and review voyage reporting data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Perform data quality checks and identify discrepancies, missing information, or anomalies in voyage and fuel consumption records.
• Support emissions calculations and voyage-level allocation activities for chartering and reporting purposes.
• Assist in delivering emissions-related services in accordance with client requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Prepare periodic reports, summaries, and performance updates for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of reporting workflows and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with company procedures and quality standards.
• Follow company policies, processes, and compliance requirements at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Background:

• Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, Naval Architecture or a related engineering discipline.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably with exposure to vessel compliance, emissions reporting, or technical operations.
• Understanding of maritime environmental regulations, including:
  • EU MRV
  • FuelEU Maritime
  • EU ETS
  • IMO DCS
  • CII (Carbon Intensity Indicator)
• Knowledge of voyage reporting processes, fuel consumption monitoring, and emissions-related data management is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Outlook
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
