Electrical Engineer

Core Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations and contribute to ongoing product enhancements.
• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot both analog and digital electronic circuits.
• Develop, review, and carry out engineering test procedures, records, and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to design reviews with internal engineering teams as well as external suppliers.
• Assist with verification and validation efforts for aerospace electronic systems and components.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
• Investigate and resolve hardware and product-performance issues, helping identify effective corrective actions.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on product safety, quality improvement, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of professional experience designing electronic hardware within a regulated industry.
• Practical knowledge of electronic circuits incorporating operational amplifiers, comparators, discrete components, ADCs, and power-switching devices.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve complex circuit- and system-level technical problems.
• Experience creating and working with schematics using tools such as Cadence OrCAD or DxDesigner.
• Familiarity with PCB design and layout platforms such as Cadence Allegro or PADS.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or MathCAD for engineering analysis and documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work successfully across technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience conducting electronics testing and troubleshooting in a laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with common electrical test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and related measurement instruments.
• Experience with PSpice or another electronic circuit simulation package.
• Previous experience providing engineering support to manufacturing or production environments.
• Professional experience with aerospace electronic hardware or systems.
• Background in product testing, verification, validation, qualification, or related engineering activities.

Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
