Join us as an EHS Coordinator and help create a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace across our operations.

You will help implement and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs that protect employees, facilities, and the environment while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and governmental regulations. Your expertise in occupational health, safety, and environmental management will help minimize risks and strengthen compliance.

As a trusted EHS professional, you will collaborate with site leadership, employees, medical services, and corporate teams to guide safety programs. You will coordinate training programs, manage compliance activities, and support the continuous improvement of EHS performance. Your work will directly affect employee well-being, regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and the achievement of our zero-incident culture.

You will report to the EHS Sr. Manager. This is an onsite role based in Querétaro, Mexico, with regular travel to our facilities in San Luis Potosí, León, and Santiago de Querétaro.

Main Responsibilities.

• Deliver EHS training programs and ensure employees receive the required safety, health, and environmental training within the scope of the role.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to occupational health, safety, and environmental protection.
• Implement and maintain the PPG Safety Management System.
• Coordinate occupational health programs in collaboration with the medical services team.
• Help achieve zero incidents related to injuries and illnesses, environmental spills, fires, actual or serious injury and fatality (aSIF) events, and process safety incidents.
• Implement and sustain corporate EHS programs, and continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Lead inspections, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up activities to strengthen site EHS performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate EHS policies, procedures, standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an Environmental, Health & Safety role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of occupational health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including applicable labor and environmental legislation.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective action processes.
• Advanced conversational English.
• Availability to travel to facilities in San Luis Potosí, León, and Santiago de Querétaro.
