Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for performing and/or assist the neurologists will all procedures performed in the EEG department.
- Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
- Perform all exams in the EEG department.
- Document exams done in the department.
- Assist the Chief EEG Technician as necessary.
- Maintain an accurate filing system.
- Handle in-patient and out-patient reports and direct them to the appropriate destination.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies.
- Maintain equipment in good working order.
- Participate in department and hospital-wide Process Improvement Activities.
Education, Experience: (required)
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must hold R. EEG T certification
License, Certification: (required)
Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T) Certification - Required
Certified Long-Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM) - Preferred
