About Us
You’ll be excited to work in this role if...
- You love being behind the wheel and enjoy driving a variety of different makes and models across London
- You take pride in the details, from parking with precision to leaving a vehicle clean and presentation-ready
- You like a practical, hands-on job where every day is different, with no two routes the same
About the role
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Driver to join our Operations team at our Cricklewood, North London hub on a 3-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible. You’ll keep Splend vehicles moving between our hub, dealerships and repairers, and make sure each one is clean, checked and ready for the next customer. It’s a practical, on-the-road role with a set Monday to Friday routine and a different route every day.
If you enjoy driving, take pride in the details and like knowing your hours in advance, you’ll thrive here.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm (1 Hour Lunch Break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and relocate vehicles between Splend hubs, dealerships and other locations as directed
- Carry out dealership runs, collecting and dropping off vehicles at repairers and garages
- Complete basic interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles between moves where required
- Carry out visual condition checks and report any damage or faults
- Accurately log vehicle movements and mileage
- Follow all road safety and driving policies at all times
What You'll Bring:
- Full, valid UK driving licence with an acceptable driving record (you’ll need to be willing to undergo a licence check as part of onboarding)
- Confident driving a variety of vehicles and parking with precision
- Physically able to move between sites and carry out basic vehicle cleaning tasks
- Reliable and punctual, able to commit to Monday to Friday working hours
- Good local London geographic knowledge is an advantage
Diversity & inclusion
At Splend, we value diversity and inclusion and consider it key to our success. We’re dedicated to fostering a workplace where everyone is respected and supported. We celebrate differences in race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, and ability, seeking diverse perspectives to drive us forward.
If this role sounds like you, but you're not quite sure if you meet every requirement, apply anyway. We're interested in the whole person - your attitude, your potential, and what you'd bring to the team - not just a checklist of credentials. We'd rather hear from you than have you talk yourself out of it.
When you apply, let us know if there are any reasonable adjustments we can make to accommodate you during the interview process.
