About the role
We are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our Project Management team and support our growing project portfolio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that technical and project documentation is accurately managed, controlled, and delivered throughout the lifecycle of complex pump manufacturing projects.As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to ensure documentation is complete, compliant, approved, and available when needed. Your expertise will help maintain project quality, support contractual requirements, and contribute to successful project execution.

What you will do:
Manage project and engineering documentation throughout the full project lifecycle.
Participate in project kick-off meetings and prepare Vendor Document Requirement Lists (VDRLs).
Coordinate document submission, review, approval, and distribution activities.
Maintain document registers, status reports, and document tracking systems.
Control document revisions and ensure obsolete documentation is removed from circulation.
Manage transmittals and document exchanges with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain documentation within SharePoint, SAP, and other document management systems.
Monitor documentation schedules and proactively follow up on outstanding deliverables.
Support audits and final project documentation close-out activities.
Prepare KPI reports and document control performance dashboards.
Coordinate technical documentation across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality functions.
Ensure compliance with internal processes, contractual requirements, and document management standards.
What you need to succeed:
Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience in document control within an industrial environment.
Strong understanding of document management processes, document numbering, revision control, and document workflows.
Experience working with SharePoint, SAP, EDMS platforms, or similar document management tools.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities effectively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, for interactions with international customers and suppliers.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines proactively.
Preferred:
Diploma or Engineering degree.
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, EPC, oil and gas, pumps, rotating equipment, or related industrial sectors.
Experience with Aconex, TeamBinder, ProArc, or similar document management systems.
Exposure to SAP implementation projects.
Experience managing technical documentation in project-based environments.
