  • Personally lead recruitment for senior-level and Director+ roles, as required.
  • Set clear KPIs and service expectations, and use recruitment, sourcing, workforce, hiring manager, and new-hire data to measure performance and continuously improve outcomes.
  • Stay current on Canadian and global labour-market, technology, workforce, sourcing, and recruitment trends, and apply relevant insights to Medcan’s talent strategy.
  • Partner with Marketing to strengthen Medcan’s employer brand and social media presence through relevant content and engagement.
  • Select and manage external recruitment vendors, ensuring quality, value, and performance.
  • Partner with HR peers and business leaders to design and deliver innovative talent initiatives that support current and future workforce needs.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins, remove roadblocks, set clear goals, provide coaching and mentoring, and lead performance reviews.

What You’ll Need

  • 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including responsibility for talent strategy, workforce planning, and recruitment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise workforce planning, including demand forecasting, scenario planning, skills-gap analysis, and translating business plans into workforce and hiring strategies.
