8613 PM & Consulting OfficeThe mission of the Project Management & Consulting Team is to assist Kaweah Health’s Executive Team, broader leadership team, and the Board of Directors by assessing strategic opportunities, identifying potential quality, patient experience, efficiency, or financial improvement outcomes to prioritize projects, developing project plans, and implementing sustainable solutions and process improvements to drive change. The Director of Project Management & Consulting is responsible for leading a team of project managers and driving organizational change management efforts.QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or MPH)
Experience
Required: Minimum of five years of experience in project management or consulting in a healthcare setting, including at least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Preferred: Experience leading strategic planning, performance improvement, and organizational change management initiatives.
License/Certification
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean/Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), and/or a change management certification (e.g., CCMP).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
Directs and manages the Project Management & Consulting function in support of Kaweah Health’s Executive Team, broader leadership team, and Board of Directors.
Assesses strategic opportunities and identifies potential quality, patient experience, efficiency, and financial improvement outcomes to prioritize and sequence the Team’s project portfolio.
Leads the team of project managers in driving organizational change management efforts, implementing sustainable solutions and process improvements to drive meaningful and lasting change across the organization.
Hires, supervises, coaches, and develops the project management team, including setting performance expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional growth and development.
Reviews and approves projects for the Project Management & Consulting Team (“Team”), including assignment of projects, participating and completing projects and provides leadership, mentorship, oversight, guidance and support.
Works with the Team to develop annual project goals and areas of focus outside of ongoing project requests.
On a project basis, works with the Team to develop project specific plans, timelines, metrics and deliverables to meet the needs of internal clients.
Creates a collaborative environment between the Team and internal clients to allow for successful and meaningful outcomes for all parties.
Serves as a resource to others in the organization related to Strategic Planning, Project Management, Performance Improvement and Internal Consulting related questions. Partners with others in Project Management roles to ensure a positive and seamless experience for internal clients.
Supports development of the annual Strategic Plan and facilitates Strategic Plan Initiative workgroups.
Supports ongoing monitoring and reporting of Strategic Plan Initiatives on a monthly basis through collaboration with and support of Strategic Initiative owners.
Uses Project Management and Strategic Planning application solutions to allow for effective monitoring and management of projects.
Takes a leadership role on all assigned projects. Works in an interdisciplinary fashion to improve processes and performance. Participates in and facilitates all relevant workgroups and meetings and works collaboratively and cross functionally to improve processes and practices throughout the organization.

Pay Range
