Overview

Join AtkinsRéalis as a Director of Engineering Management – Market Capture Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping winning strategies for major engineering and infrastructure opportunities. Working within a dynamic capture management environment, you will lead engineering management contributions across strategic pursuits, proposals, and business development initiatives while driving collaboration, innovation, and growth across your assigned market.

Your Role

• Lead Engineering Management participation across captures, proposals, prospects, and strategic pursuits within an assigned market.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering contributions and align teams with market priorities, client expectations, and business objectives.
• Support the development of capture strategies, execution plans, delivery models, resource plans, and technical approaches for complex opportunities.
• Review and challenge proposal content to ensure technical quality, compliance, credibility, and delivery readiness.
• Identify and escalate technical risks, resource constraints, and delivery concerns that may impact pursuit success.
• Monitor capture performance, workload, resource utilization, and market metrics to support informed decision-making.
• Coach and develop Portfolio Leads and capture teams while promoting continuous improvement and best practices.

About You

• Ability to assess engineering solutions, delivery approaches, resource plans, risks, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to coordinate and influence diverse stakeholders across engineering, business development, commercial, and project delivery teams.
• Proficiency in managing complex pursuits, competing priorities, and multidisciplinary collaboration within a matrix environment.
• Aptitude for developing teams, strengthening proposal quality, and enhancing capture management capabilities.
