- Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel; manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.
Oversees and ensures that all quality-related items for a large, complex site are complete and documented to meet established quality standards; actively drives culture of QMS compliance and adherence to the Quality Cardinal Rules - Ensures ongoing compliance with EASA regulations, Production Organization Approval requirements by maintaining adherence to the Production Organization Exposition (POE) and approved procedures, ensuring production activities conform to approved design data and regulatory requirements, supporting EASA and customer audits through effective corrective and preventive actions, and fostering a strong culture of regulatory compliance, product safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Partners with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet applicable airworthiness requirements by promoting a zero-defect culture, driving proactive quality management, overseeing the effective resolution of non-conformances through root cause analysis and corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with configuration management and product traceability requirements.
- Collaborates with Supply Chain to ensure material availability and supplier performance by optimizing inventory, production scheduling, and logistics, while proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks to support on-time production and delivery commitments.
- Leads, mentors, and develops multidisciplinary operational teams by building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Understands and ensures compliance with applicable Environment, Health & Safety regulatory requirements and management system elements; ensures that appropriate controls for hazards and risks are in place; leads by example by demonstrating and reinforcing safe, compliant behaviors and addressing unsafe, non-compliant behaviors / conditions when observed; fosters an EH&S culture and holds line management accountable for implementation of an effective EH&S Management System; actively engages in EH&S-related activities, including EH&S Management Committee meetings, EH&S inspections / audits, and incident investigations / read-across; ensures that EH&S is considered in the planning, design and modification of materials, processes, operations, and building layouts, and that adequate / competent EH&S resources are available to implement and sustain the EH&S Management System
- Oversees process improvement for a complex or medium-sized site to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
- Ability to select the appropriate replenishment/fulfillment models for Make and Buy parts using statistical analysis
- Ability to maintain an achievable master production schedule based on demand, lead time, capacity constraints, inventory strategies, and materials availability.
- Strong understanding of ERP master data and MRP processes, with the ability to leverage business systems and data to optimize supply, production, inventory, and end-to-end planning.
- Ability to lead cross-functional operations activities across program start-ups, product transitions, and production ramp-ups, ensuring the right resources, capabilities, and capacity are in place. Acts as a key operations interface with Program Management, Engineering, customers, and suppliers; proactively manages operational risks and issues, supports customer readiness and satisfaction, and leads capability and capacity expansion initiatives for major projects.
- Optimizes production value through the effective management of assets and maintenance activities; manages continuous improvement of processes, systems and ways of working with a focus on enhancing operational capabilities; ensures that appropriate focus is placed on embedding and encouraging the use of CORE at all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated financial leadership and strong business acumen, with the ability to assess business performance, identify value creation opportunities, and translate financial insights into strategic actions. Drives capital and investment planning through robust business cases and recommendations, lead and participate in site-wide cost transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen productivity and sustainable financial performance.
- Recognizes risks through a series of closely monitored leading performance indicators of performance; uses knowledge of critical operations performance metrics to anticipate and address emerging issues before hey escalate into a crisis; ; demonstrates the leadership and problem solving skills necessary to develop effective tactics for responding to unanticipated issues and restoring performance to expected or superior levels before significant business impact occurs.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
- 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience ideally within aerospace manufacturing, aviation or automotive
- Preferably experienced in leading large, multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing, supply chain, and/or engineering functions.
- Trained and experienced in implementation of Lean/Six sigma initiatives.
- Conversant with statistical, continuous improvement, and problem-solving tools and techniques
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (AS 9100)
- Strong operational KPIs and basic financial KPIs
- Ability to lead and manage people
- Ability to apply tools for practical problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply logical and scientific thinking principles to solve wide range of intellectual, organizational, and practical problems
- Significant experience in an EASA Part 21G, FAA Part 21, or equivalent regulated manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a large multinational corporation with geographically dispersed and globally matrixed teams is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across regions, cultures, and time zones, influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience partnering with global functions such as Quality, Supply Chain, EH&S, Engineering, Finance and Human Resources to achieve business objectives.
- Proven ability to lead through organizational change, support global initiatives, and align regional operations with enterprise-wide strategies.
